The Irish voted 'No' in referendum, shooting down the Lisbon treaty, but many fear that the EU will press on and either ignore the vote, or find alternate routes to affirm the concentration of power.

Police and security kept free speech at bay during a visit by Sarkozy where a number of vocal Irish came to defend their constitution and assert their independence apart from the EU.

I cant believe Ireland gave away the right to rule its self!!! And make no mistake Europe said vote again this time give us what WE want and they got it...So now say Ireland rules its own people and country..Not anymore...Ireland And the Irish will disappear with Europe's rule and immigration
