Obama -- "McCain IS the Old Boys Network"

Yesterday, John McCain actually said that if hes president that hell take on, and I quote, the old boys network in Washington. Now Im not making this up. This is somebody whos been in Congress for twenty-six years, who put seven of the most powerful Washington lobbyists in charge of his campaign. And now he tells us that hes the one whos gonna to take on the old boys network. The old boys network? In the McCain campaign thats called a staff meeting. Come, on!

McCain: I Am A Deregulator. I Believe In Deregulation. While speaking about the cable and satellite television during an appearance on CNNs On the Money, John McCain said, I am a deregulator. I believe in deregulation. [CNN, In the Money, 7/13/03]

you have it backwards. if obama was picking the vp the party wanted, he would've picked hillary. obama wanted biden. the candidate that caved is mccain who actually wanted lieberman... palin was picked only because she would be popular with the base, she wasn't the choice mccain wanted to make.

Obama wants to change this country, but he doesn't pick his VP for change but he picks a Vp that the Democratic Party wants. Control happens when you let others pick and choose important decisions for yourself
