  • hey my friend I was wondering how high do you place the heat gun and for how long do you keep the board under the heat gun

  • @TheHugo23c You have to hit 220c so you need a way to measure the heat.

    -Pete

  • can you please tell me how do I do the same you are doing on the redo station but at home I tried your other videos with the torch but it didn't work thanks

  • @marlaivan Some chips are dead if they dont snap back to life or there is a solder short on the bottom of the chip.. Your welcome to send that our way and we can get it working like new for you,

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • Hi, from your experience, does reballing + adding a copper shim fix the problem for years, like when it was brand new, or it can brake again anytime? Thanks!

  • @cd4600 When I have someone that wants to ensure that the repair lasts for years, I replace the GPU chip with a new one, add copper and max out the fan 100%

If you need help with the repair your welcome to give us a call at the shop 321-332-0710

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • @TheHugo23c

Go get a digital cooking thermometer...I picked one up for 12.99. It is pretty accurate and will measure up to 250c....

  • @avatarluke I do not but I will try to work on that.

  • @teamaghora copper, good thermal paste and sit it on a fan pad platform.

  • @TheSampoora Thanks!
