@amyanda Charlie is not really interested in being "responsible" either.. he is just holding on to the idea of being in control. Even Charlie knows that Baily is the one who's really in charge. (He sends Baily to buy the car, asks Baily why he didn't pay the bill, leaves Baily to replace the sitter, leaves Baily to take care of the plummer.- Baily is the one who speaks to Claudia about skipping out on her family obligations.)

@StashaSLW Because the oldest isn't always responsible just because.I think Charlie is young and just at the age where he's ready to be INDEPENDENT, but not responsible for 4 kids. He's rebelling. they are all rebelling in different ways.I think Baily is even rebelling by taking over, even though he justHASto.It gets better later whenCharlie steps up andBaily can be a kid again.Although I don't know why Joe or somebody doesn't step in.But I guess it happens.ShaniaTwain had to raise her siblings.

@aDevons3 No, Charlie is not at all responsible in the beginning. Baily is the one who takes care of everyone. They all look to Baily because he is the one who really takes care of things.
