Wii Physics demonstration using box2D.

My plans are to make a physics game based on the original idea of Crayon Physics.

How, exactly, did you get this to play on the Wii? Did you mod your Wii or is there a way to run programs via SD card?

You need a SD card, a Twilight Princess Disc and that's all, with the twilight you run a hacked save file which runs a program.... all you need can be downloaded at "hbc (dot) hackmii (dot) com" (sorry, youtube doesn't like urls, just replace (dot) with .) instructions about installation are included on the files

basically installing the hombrew channel is kind of a "softmod" because you install a custom wii channel.

How likely is it to brick the Wii? I'm kind of worried about that. I did a bit of research, and it seems worth the risk, but I don't know if I could stand not having my Wii.

you won't brick your wii by installing the homebrew channel, just check what do you run, for example installing some custom channels can risk your wii while running just homebrew won't (homebrew is run on the fly and normally doesn't touch your wii's file system)

well the story behind this:

before being released wiiphysics I started making a port of crayon physics, which I intended to name "WiiPhysics", but actually beardface (author of the other wiiphysics) had been working on some similar app with the same name... and since he started making that before me (i think), the correct thing was his app should be named that way and mine had another name.

I understand the confusion, and hope this clears some uncleared things.
