@gymnastix4life Look my friend I can clearly tell that you are not very technical minded. The 4gb you are referring to is ram! The Ram of a pc is nots its actually memory it just allows it to open more programmes on your PC and run faster. The more ram you have = faster PC. The memory of a PC is called the hard drive space e.g. 160gb, 250gb,300gb,500gb or 1tb. Ram is not used for storing any data on your pc it just allows the computer to access it to do things. The lowest memory apple do is 160g

@gymnastix4life the 8 gb on the ipod touch is referring to the hard drive whereas the 4 gb on the macbook is referring to the RAM. the macbook pro comes with either a 250, 320, or 500 gb hard drive.
