I am also paying a ridiculous amount of money to go to a private university in Boston, but by staying in Kentucky, I could have easily gone to school for free. Therefore, your entire argument is illogical. You chose to go out of state, thus you should be paying the money, as should I. These immigrants did not choose to come to the United States. Before only 1000 out of 10000 immigrants could afford to go college and pay 50,000$, now since is to 20,000$ like other citizens, 5000+ immigrants pay 20,000$ giving us more money. In-state tuition laws have been in place for years, it was your choice to go to school in California. In-State tuition is called in-state for a reason, Its only available to those that reside in California and/or attended California schools.
