Look up the history of German shepherds; and you will see they were specifically bred as a multi purpose flock dog; to both herd the sheep and GUARD them from predators! @raiderncpit Keep your Pit with it's claim to fame of taking on other 40lb dogs, i will keep my German shepherd wich was developed to defend sheep from predators and take on whatever tries to harm there herd, and also is a succesful police dog! Any Livestock guardian dog; Great pyrenees, German shepherd, CAO, Ilyrian sheepdog, Anatolian shepherd, etc is a much more forceful dog than a Pit wich most guys in the hood get them to TRY and make themselves look all tough and bad! lol
