  • Yes, but the reed block would have to be modified.

  • Wondering, Can you take accordion reeds and install them in these machines?

  • As you turn the crank on the side of the organette it moves 3 bellows up and down that create a vacuum. The music acts as a valve, so when a hole in the music roll passes over the center area (tracker bar) it allows the air to be sucked in which actuates a reed inside. It is very similar to a player piano in it's operation.
