2003 Roush Cobra Cammed 5.0L

This is 1 of 6 for 2003 and first of only 11 built as custom orders by Roush.

This is running my new 305 cubic inch (5.0L) Boss DOHC supercharged engine with custom cams built by John at Modular Performance mated to ported heads with oversized valves done by Modular Head Shop. The heads flow through Kooks 1 3/4" long tubes with 3" collectors mated to a 3" off-road X-pipe. The X-pipe tapers to 2.5" to mate up to the Roush side exhaust. Intake air comes through a JLT carbon fiber RAI mated up to a ported Eaton running only a 2.8" upper pulley. Fuel is supplied through a Fore hat with dual Ford GT pumps and a modified FPDM. It put down 546.9 RWHP/564.6 RWTQ with a non-functioning intercooler on 91 pump gas...which is over 600 at the engine.

Underneath it has a full Maximum Motorsports tubular K-member and front control arms, as well as Race 2 coil-overs at all four corners. Stiffening is done using Griggs in-floor subframe connectors.

I don't think that this is a true Roush Cobra! Why does it have the Cobra R wing on it? Why does it have the roush rims on it? And where in the hell are your fog lights at? Dude if you got this car as an actual Roush Cobra you should have left the looks alone, cause you turned this car into a shit nigga mess!

@cfhchevy The wing is definitely not for most people, but it is useful. It has Roush rims on it...because DEE DEE DEE, it's a Roush. Fog light openings are used for brake duct cooling when open tracking.

God ALL Roush stangs look disgusting. No matter how fast this thing is it's still gonna look like trash. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with the way the stock terminators look. If you feel obligated to put a bodykit on a muscle car, maybe an import is a better choice for you. This really does look THAT bad because I'm a Chevy guy defending Ford. Stick with Saleen/Shelby if you want an out of the ordinary Ford. The hell with Roush.

This is definently a roush. The svt badge is on the driver side deck lid not passenger side. The gage cluster doesnt even look mounted. Look like you bought 2 cobra badges and stuck them on. Just buy a dame cobra.

@789films Yes, there are numerous Roush Cobras, most but not all were custom orders...the car was modified by Roush with zero miles on it before delivery, it has a Roush window sticker that says "Roush Cobra" and every modification whether you like it or not is functional and none of the modifications were imported from Japan. Fine if you don't like it, but be realistic...you've stepped outside the extent of your knowledge.
