Living in the country

這首曲子的主題旋律取材於愛爾蘭傳統民謠Do You Love an Apple。歌曲早先由The Bothy Band改編出版。在1956年Pete Seeger將之改編為吉他獨奏曲。在此演出的改編版本，則是根據George Winston的Summer專輯中，鋼琴演奏的主題旋律加以編配。George Winston在2007年五月時曾來台灣演出，而我最早接觸到他的鋼琴音樂則大約是在十年前，有一回從高中同學那兒借來的CD專輯。當時，聆聽他的音樂就有種很舒服的感­動，而這首Living in the country亦是歷年來點播率最高的曲目之一。當初在古箏的傳統音階上改變訂弦時，摸索實驗了很久，才編配出一套完整的指法和訂弦，可以讓古箏把主題旋律完整呈現，然而­在和聲上並未能如鋼琴那樣豐富，但也算是另一種嘗試。或許某天，古箏亦可以就其獨奏樂器的特性上，發展出屬於古箏的New Age音樂。

Il doit être très tard à Taiwan maintenant. Nan-To... je vais voir sur une carte. Tu enseignes le français... pas facile comme langue le français. Je connais Wong-Faye. Elle a une très jolie voix. Moi j'habite à Paris en ce moment. Je passe mon permis de conduire :-) et je dois commencer à travailler très bientôt.

J'habite à Taipei, mais je vais démenager à Nan-To pour mon travail.

Nan-To se trouve pas très loins de Taichung. Je vais y aller pour travailler comme un instituteur de français.

Pour la chanson que je chantais depuis toujours dans le KTV est la musique de Wong-Faye. Elle une chanteuse vient de la Chine contientale, pourtant elle s'est fait distinguée des autres chanteuses. Je l'aimais dès que j'étais un lycéen. Je ne sais pas si tu la connais?
