why? surely a better idea would be to get wasted on 2 bottles of cheap vodka?

Is this one able to levitate a magnet? Could get a lot more distance if you used a magnet.

You need a better camera.

wow that coil must be getting pretty fricken hot!!!!!!!!

LOL u wish it were that simple

it doesn't work like that. the magnetic field from the outside has to pull it with opposing magnetic fields...

All we need is to put this equipment into a metal ball, change a few things and get it to levitate it from the inside. But strong enough to levitate a human being inside of it. Maybe use smaller ones on three corners to control movement & speed. a new nasa space ship?

Yes exactly. Thats why you need a feedback circuit. mine was adjusting the position 1500 times per second. that is much more that you need.
This is a great work. I knew a lot of people couldn't get it worked. You can also get rid of side sensor. All you need to do is using a hall effect sensors, Like in my video.

Hall effect requires a magnet on the levitated object, especially if your looking for distance, even then it is limited as the further away you get the more the field from the coil is stronger on the hall effects device than the magnet on the levitating object, I am considering ultrasonics with doppler effect at the moment.

No it does not require a magnet on the object. I was thinking that too. it polorize the object so it can levitate without a magnet on it. As you can see on mine it is not a magnet.

I am aware polarization takes place in the object, but the amount of polarization depends of the strength of the electromagnetic field, as you probably know that field drops of rapidly with distance, even when levitating a magnet my system manages only 42mm at best for a 1.6 amp coil current.
