@rjfairchildhotmailca Old response. Anywho, I believe you are right because one of these fawns looks awfully bigger than the other two fawns.

It is uncommon for mule deer or white tails to produce more than one fawn, though the literature states that the usual number of mule deer offspring is "from 1 to 4" fawns. Twins ARE more likely than triplets, and quads are virtually unheard of, at least around the parts of British Columbia I have hung around for a few decades. So, perhaps, but unlikely, that the 3 fawns belong to the single doe. Nonetheless they are awfully cute!
