Yes, there is not another voice like hers, the purest folk voice that ever was.
I heard Joan as a young teenager, and heard many other great folk singers but there was something in Joan's voice that was so, so beautiful-----and I am still in awe of this voice, To think that someone is born with a voice like this is beyond belief.

she sing s like the blessed Mad dona I think she is dark like our lady and her smile is so beautiful she has a true gift and has used it to minister and help others and bring us back to our senses
Her treblo and vibrato is the clearest I have ever heard
I love Joan for her amazing strength and brave heart she risked her life one time to save others with 4 other men in VIETNAM its in her book
bless her in these last days I hope she sings us to heaven if something bad happens to our world

It's kind of strange but in this particular photo ONLY, of Joan - this is how I looked when I was about 17 years old. I really don't look like her - but there is something about this photo, perhaps the expression or angle of her face and hair and sad expression in her eyes that reminds me of photos of myself at that age and looking small. I don't see a similiarity really in other photographs - just this one. I have been a fan for many, many years.
