Quick overview of the Snap-on SOLUS PRO. A diagnostic scan tool that provides professional technicians with software to retrieve trouble codes, display and graph readings, and guide the repair with Fast-Track Troubleshooter experience-based information. If you have a dash warning light on, look for a repair shop with a Snap-on MODIS, SOLUS PRO, SOLUS, ETHOS or Scanner. SOLUS PRO has a large color display, long-lasting rechargeable battery and comes standard with Asian and Domestic adapters for vehicles back to 1996.
This is Basically a very very expensive OBD II with some code tips. The graphs are there but the videos ONLY! show you how to check a MAF sensor.

Our shop has owned a Solus Pro. They decided to get a Bosch. What a mistake. Thank god they didn't trade in the Solus Pro. We have poor support for the Bosch.

@dmgcat It doesn't matter if you're a small or big operation, if you work on cars and you wanna make some quick money you're gonna need one of these. Yes!..it is expensive but it's a good investment and it pays for itself with the first 10 cars you fix, maybe less- that's if you know what you're doing...

we have one at our shop and we can't live without it.
saves us so much time and guess work it paid for itself in a few months.
$4k doesn't seem too much after you diagnose problems people have been struggling with for months in a few mins.

what a fucking scam. These guys know you need it since everything is computerized these days but if your a small operation this is a very very expensive tool. Its a lot easier for the pricey dealerships to get these kinds of toys.

No it goes up to 2007 but can test later vehicles using the OBD software installed. About every 6 months you get an upgrade which you have to pay for and with all the new vehicles coming out its worth keeping up to date with the upgrades. I just bought one of these as i had the Snap On Ethos which was also very good. But i needed the Solus Pro as it does activation tests for fitting hand brake pads with electronic parking brakes. Great bit of kit that cost me about £1800 plus VAT in the UK
