Play one of his songs from the 1970's and close your eyes. You can almost imagine him as deeply spiritual and wise as he has become. He seriously sounded almost as good back then as he does now.

I fell in love with 'tea for the tillerman' when I was around nine years old. I thought. I love this man's soul. I love what he says and does. I secretly hid the record upstairs and listened to it every chance the house was empty. The first song I loved dearly was 'longer boats'. I finally (nearly bursting) told someone of my love. I was told, " he ran to india or some shit, turned into a hindu or something." Apparently not. I have much love for you Yusef, I respect your evolution.

the CD is enhanced....put it on the computer and you can get the video....come to think of it, it's here on YouTube....Yusuf said it didn't fit with the rest of the songs on the album
