The way every thing's overdubbed and layered today its more rare to find a group not using loops on stage to compensate for the lack of extra players needed to fill in the extra parts.. Personally, I'm of the "keep it simple stupid" mind set and leave the looping to others.. But hey, what's technology worth if we're opposed to using it?

@MrUndresser - As if just about EVERY band in the world doesn't these days? If you listen close at most concerts, there's loads of music NOT being generated LIVE from the stage.. For instance U2 "hides" a keyboard player under those huge stages they build.. And they still use loops. Its that or hire 10 extra people to play.
