Munir Niazi with his individualistic and unique style/temperament that has been unparalleled so far, is a famous and legendry Urdu and Punjabi poet from Pakistan. The golden era of music lasted till the eighties or some portion of the nineties. PTV's weekly classical music programme Raag Rang was stopped few years ago. My struggle has been going on all my life. Ironically when I was a novice I got more opportunities than when I am more mature. Thanks for your best wishes Imtiaz Saheb.

Imtiaz Saheb, I thank you for your consideration. Persons like me are considered as Ataais in this domain of art and I have acquired the art of classical and semi-classical singing from those who inherit (Meeraas) from their forefathers. The effort still goes on. I do my Riaz on daily basis with Ustad Ghulam Shabbir Khan. Unfortunately there is zero openings for classical music or even Ghazal singing now adays here. Even PTV and Radio have stopped giving bookings to music performers. Thanks.

Dr. Amjad I apologize for my statements , but now I agree with your statement, the Ustads of music do not reveal the secrets of classical singing in Pakistan, where else in India there are institutions where you can learn, its a trade secret , but remember one thing You are alone against Rome.

@dramjadparvez Its not that I have anything against you guys , as a person I have met Mr.Hashmi and found him a very nice man , neither I doubt about Mr Amjad as Dr. in his field He may be great, its only my openion ,many others loved their singing. Dr. Amjad's reply here reflects his wisdom , as a gentleman and a scholar.

I can never forget how much this guy Amjad and Mushtaq have bored the people of Lahore by singing Bay-Sura songs during the 1960's . But hats off to the Lahore TV station the credit goes ton them .From USA.
