Main control cabinets now wired up and the starter panel working. Next step is to finish the fuel system, first run in 8 to 10 days if all goes well.

Thanks to the guys at Rolls-Royce Heritage and CORUS Scunthorpe for chasing wiring diagrams.

Just over 350 metres of 4mm single core cable was used connecting the main control cabinets.

    The Proteus has been up and running at the museum in Wales since last year and on the 21st of June this year received an Engineering Heritage Award from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
