"American Gwen"- Gwen Cooper's extremely funny American accent

From Torchwood Miracle Day Series 4 Episode 4 "Escape To LA" when Jack and Gwen pose as an American couple in an attempt to gain access to Nicholas Frumpkin's fingerprints, voice print, and retina scan. Gwen must get into character which includes using an American accent. I think this scene is more for comedy than anything and this is not to make fun of Eve Myles's acting as it is dead on since Gwen is new to America and would likely have trouble adjusting her accent. I know I can't do a British or Welsh or Scottish or any of them at all as an American myself so don't take this as criticizing Eve's performance.
