yeah, although i am certain i have it, the venue eludes me and my brother, we been trading for over 25 years, i know i have it as a single song from the gig as well, and it was before the 83 tour when i first caught it.. but alas old age and no time to sort out the collection lol.. its stil sitting there.
Yes, you'r right about the sax in TVC15 ! Also for the possible place for Golden Years ! Pimm Jal de La Parra (RIP) wrote in his bible "The Concert Tape" about this song played at the Evansville's gig. Presumably too at the gig in Saint Louis ! Both venues are very rare to catch indeed !
That's just sad enought ...cheers to all the TWD fans
I think the sax playing is TVC15. My audio from La 76 (Wish Upon A Star) has The Duke playing the sax to TVC15 so I am making the assumption that this is that.
u seen the complete wembley show from audience balcony/stage right? nearly all show there.. large stage but small band if u know what i mean and no real close ups.. only some small cuts but i have the over dubbed version, to the nassau gig.. never ever seen anything else! loook for it! real nice....!
yeah! im sure i have an old audio where he played golden years in 76, my brother whos more involved with the trading scene says that it never happened!, but im sure it did, any light on this_!! im so so far away from my old tapes and vhs 8mm etc.. im sure it was amercia also, and did i hear someone mention that the rochester show was filmed.. oooooh! keep diggin,,, let me know if that was found eh!!
no can do.. sorry! livin away from home now with work, just a comment to keep people on their toes though.. lots more duke stuff out there also! keep diggin...!
ziggystardustbby - NO SOUND! Ronald Reagan (later banner waver of red hair himself) who was mayor of California at the time carried a lot of clout. So he told the duke and band to keep the noise down because he was having an early night with Nancy. The duke was pissed off so he said "**** this let's go and make a noise in Berlin. Miserable gits"
