It's late, late November...a little cold, a little flurry....but I'm determined to ride 2 more weeks. But is this a sign for me to put the bike away NOW?

  • You should have gotten the phone number of the truck driver so you could allow him to prove the car was trying to pass him while going through an intersection. Where did this happen?

  • @MichaelKaufman0 Logan & California, Chicago, IL

  • I wasn't expecting that at all! I was paying more attention to the snow flurries, expecting a sudden snow storm.

  • Its alright, its only a prius.

  • Wow a shitty driver in a prius what a surprise!

  • i hate a prius, glad youre ok !

  • Guys the truck isn't splitting a lane, it's a single lane. Look at the grey car behind the truck, it's trying to turn right too. It's in nearly the exact same position as the truck. They're driving left of center to make room for people coming up on their right trying to filter.

    The Prius, shouldn't be

    - Driving up someone's hole

    - Overtaking at a fucking junction, sit there and wait

    - Overtaking on the inside, wtf

The trucker had probably checked for bikes before coming upto the junction.

  • @zzzingrol anyone who drives a prius has no real interest in driving, and it shows.

  • That is a single lane road with a left turn lane. The truck was signally a right turn, but signaling does not give you the right away. If you look closely you will see there are no lane markers due to poor road funding. The truck is clearly splitting the straight and turn lane with a turn signal on. Since he had not cleared the straight lane fully, the prius is at fault for attempting to pass prior to the lane being fully clear. You could also charge the prius with agressive driving.

  • @woo545 Trucks make wide turns. This is how driving works. Look at how narrow the lane he is trying to turn in. Its a single lane. Which means he cant make a wide turn from the far right lane without taking down a sign or two.

Who taught you how to drive?

  • Truck driver's fault

  • @torbar You're kidding right? the Truck was making a right from the left lane. PLUS, by the time you can determine the turn signal was on for the truck, the Prius was already passing the rear of the truck. He drove onto the sidewalk because he didn't have time to stop and was maneuvering to avoid a collision.
