Pumps and semi autos make you a less good of shot too become a good shooter shoot over and under or side by side I use mossberg silver reserve 12 ga over and under and love it

the 870 is a great gun for pheasant. Use the Modified choke or even Skeet over dogs. Full choke if the birds are flushing wild. 71/2 shot or 6's.

i disagree, i hunt with that gun now (20ga) and often go dove and duck hunting with it i think it would suit just fine if u practice with it good

@TheAlucard54321 Well that gun seems to be more of a Turkey Gun. It might do OK if you are shooting at a longer distance but might be to tight of a choke if you are hunting over dogs!
