Which is why we love her. Have you ever actually read Marianne Williamson? Probably not - she's wonderful too.

Yes, I've read her. She's New Age; she does not believe man needs redemption from sin, so the purpose of Christ is not the purpose he stated he came for.

And apparently "New Age" is bad?

"Eat, Pray, Love" is hardly a radical book.

And, you're so right—not everyone is equal in God's love. /sarcasm

I didn't say anything about being equal in God's love so I don't know what you mean there.

Yes, New Age is very bad if you are claiming to be a Christian. New Age beliefs are totally contrary to anything biblical. The fact she endorsed those books shows a tremendous lack of discernment and/or a syncretism of New Age with Christianity.

God loves everyone but even Jesus talked about eternal death, which is separation from God.

Being "New Age" does not equal anti Christian. You need to get out of your tiny little box.

New Age is opposite of Christian - you are god, jesus was just a man who realizes his divinity, and everyone is basically good. This is not what Jesus taught; the atonement is about taking the penalty for sins. New Age even denies the concept of sin. I was in the New Age for 20 yrs before becoming a Christian.
