@Anime96Vault Spetsnaz is a Special Unit... like SAS, SWAT, Seals... Marines are just a regular soldiers with harder training. Like Rangers, paratroopers etc.

Of course you make non-army martial arts look like a performance when you show video clips of movies and performances.

Just because people aren't being trained to kill doesn't mean the things taught can't be used in a life or death situation.

I know a lot of martial artists, and all would say that their training is "maximum effect, minimum effort", as well as a discipline in when and how to use their art.

The name varies depending on what martial art you do but I do Karate Kickboxing and it's called a Spinning Reverse Footsweep.
