Not regularly no, but they do it say it. I really don't see how the terms we use to describe "football" is ruining the escence of the game. If anything is ruining this wonderful sport, its the players who have no passion for their club or country, just for their paycheck. And every sport which involoved a ball and two goals on seperate ends was called football in the 1800's (This includes rugby and soccer), my guess is the word just stuck over in the US for "our football"
This reall is petty.

fyi ... the football lines mean that it's a football stadium ... which is kinda what u expect to see.
more and more teams are getting soccer-specific stadiums, but ur still gonna see alot of football lines in the MLS ... i'm really sorry, dude
