from the album Shooting At The Moon
I just came in off the street
Looking for somewhere to eat
I find a small cafe
I see a girl and then I say
`May I sit and stare at you for a while?
I`d like the company of your smile`
You don`t have to say a thing
You`re the song without the sing
The sunlight in your hair
You look so good just sitting there
`May I sit and stare at you for a while?
I`d like the company of your smile`
I'm actually reading Mike's Biography ... it's him inventing and playing the bass

@Doobie1975 Yes I'm sitting with a friend of Kevins now. It's Kevin Ayers singing on the track. Mike & Kevin both started off on the same label I've been told, that's how they became friends

Great song, about time it's on here, didn't the singer who sang this song also sang on Mike Oldfield's "Don Alfonso"?
