i started doing this ab workout for day 2 and i couldnt do set 2 because there was extreme pressure around my neck area and i had to lay my head down to rest everytime. is this normal for someone is first starting to workout? i feel pretty ashmed for not completing up to 3 sets like i was told to do but my neck kept me from doing anymore. please help!

@titaguwapa hey it turns out i was vitamin d deficient and i had lower back pain and achy muscles, 85% of kids nowadays are under the normal vitamin d level and it causes very bad pains that limit your ability to work out, there could be a million reason for low back pain but that was mine...still taking vitamin d supplements will make your bones and muscles feel alot better :P. just tryin to help out

Hi, I have some questions:
the last exercise seems kindda affect the spine a lot (I've got a back problem), doesn't it?
should we sit on a thick (and soft) carpet to do it in order to prevent the rear end of our spine to got "squeeze" on the hard floor?

Do u have to use a medicine ball? Can't it be something else that's heavy? Like a dumbell or something?

Yip, you can use anything with some weight. Even a Watermelon or a coke or milk bottle filled with water or sand! Enjoy!
