Unpacking & Setting up the Tivax DTV converter box, part 1 of 2 parts, and the first 2 minutes and 20 seconds or so was a little messed up because the head needed cleaning. After unpacking the Tivax, I couldn't redo the video on that, and that's one "irritation" I have with the Sony HC52 Camcorder, and that is, almost every time I try to record anything, I need to clean the head. I start recording, then after pausing, then restarting the recording, it says to clean the head, but unkinown to me, what I had already recorded had been "messed up," so that's one thing I dislike about the HC52, and I suggest that you have a head cleaning tape for the HC52 handy, and I'll further say that I also suggest doing a head cleaning before recording anything, but even though they say not to clean the head more than 10 seconds at a time, and not more than 3 times in a row, I need to clean for at least 2 minutes before recording works good. I'm keeping the "bad" part of the recording, and maybe I'll do so every time I record, so then you'll see how often this occurs to me.
