In actuality, the C-17 weighs less than a 777. The 777 is heavier empty, and has a higher MTOW.

Nice Vid. I was one of the volunteers working the show, and I was working down at the opposite end of the runway as they left. It was a great view as it appeared over the hump in the middle of the runway. I just wish I'd got to my camera in time...
