  • I hope the animal abusers were taken to court / bless you for your efforts / Our Maddie was our rescue from a pet store ...bought + returned by another person , we heard her crying , and took her home ...ear infections + diorrohea , that might have killed her ...she's great today ...bless all westies ...IF U read this , and U think a westie's in trouble ....don't be afraid ...go in , boots and all!

  • Actually these pups were released voluntarily by the puppymiller. Called us up and asked if we wanted them, because they couldn't afford to keep them anymore. Relatively speaking, these dogs were in good shape. Much better than some we have taken in. If you saw pictures of the "bad" cases, you would probably have nightmares.

  • I love this video! I watch it every once in a while, and I am happy for the poor little souls that were lucky enough to get rescued that day!

  • Good job, everyone at Oklahoma Westie Rescue. My wife and I rescued a Westie from a high-kill shelter 6 years ago and we have been rescuing different breeds ever since. We still get Westies, but we also do the larger, hard to place breeds as well. Rescuing has definitely changed our lives, as well as the lives of the dogs. I would encourage everyone who is able and looking for a wonderful pet to please give a shelter dog a chance!
