  • i love this tune takes me back to house partys in the basement,in jamaca queens. we had it good then ,we just didnt know it.

  • This was one of my favorite OJay's songs. I had just started basic training in the Air Force (1966) when this song was a hit. Seems like just yesterday.

  • A STAND IN FOR LOVE! How many adolescent kids felt this way?! And yet, we all grew up, found someone, fell in love, and left these uncertain days behind! And yet...and yet...we return to these bittersweet memories, remembering how it was, and how BEAUTIFULLY these artists expressed our teenage angst! Thank you GOD, for these artists that expressed our feelings, at this point in time, in this country. Thank you, God, for these talented vocalists.
