My dad flying his control line plane for the first time in 30 years, the tail came lose during the first few seconds you cant see it on the video but the result was he had limited control of the plane
It was. I fly mine over grass, just in case the controls go wonky. There isn't much, but if the bellcrank breaks loose during a flight, you end up with Death Loop.
I design and build my own, so it's not like I can just order another kit. Hell, you used to be able to step down to the corner hobby shop and pick up a Jumpin' Bean. The Corner Shop is gone, long gone, unfortunately.
yep, my Dad did the same thing when me and my two brothers were just young., It was a Mustang with a Super Tiger .35 on it. Super fast, and he smashed it into a million pieces on the concrete behind my elementary school/. Ironic part was, he was a top rated military jet pilot at the time!!
