In 1996], when a number of Republicans and others in Arizona sought to pass a bill in that states legislature outlawing race preferences, we were told by several Republican legislators that they had received calls from Sen. John McCain urging them not to support such a measure because — again, as always — it might send the wrong message.

Thank God that McCain is an abject failure as a presidential candidate. Some people cause accidents intentionally as a racket to get money, but illegal immigrants would be the last people to do it: THEY MIGHT GET CAUGHT

Warmonger McCain, knew when he helped draft "Comprehensive Immigration Reform" [a direct path to citizenship for lawbreakers] , that Americans were opposed to it, but he and Kennedy pushed it anyway.
That idea was tried before, to slow the tide, but failed. The drafters & supporters of this bill knew that.
That DOES include OBAMA. He too supported/ supports this bill.
There agenda was/ is helping the mega-corperations to create a slave-wage workforce while softening our borders.

Give McCain some credit that he has at least learned that we need to secure the border first. He will lead better on this issue having learned from his first attempt.

CNN's Toobin on McCain:
"But let's be clear about what John McCain is doing about Mitt Romney. He's lying."
