I always watched Dan McLean on CHCH TV 11 during its heyday. I don't think that it was fair of them to just force the most familiar faces in news reporting just because Comcast is so cheap. :P

Dan is now co-host of the Mix 106.5 morning radio show in Owen Sound with a lady named Barb Jelly.

Even though he's fitting in nicely up there, I'm sure CHCH and Hamilton news viewers and Hamiltonians still truly miss him and his signature deep voice. He did a lot for Hamilton's community, and I'm sure television and radio fans across Ontario still associate Dan McLean with CHCH and Hamilton.

All the best up in Owen Sound, Dan! You're a class act and a great man!
