The jingle that used to start up Viking Radio in East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire every morning at 5:30 between 1984 and 1986 when the station changed frequency, jingle package and went 24 hours!

I picked up viking radio on 102.7mhz fm stereo at boarding school in ripon n.yorkshire with excellent reception and quality! It spread a good way outside its official service area on fm,and didnt stick to east yorkshire and north lincolnshire.

I remember hearing this on 1161khz on the day Viking started broadcasting. Living near Mablethorpe, it must have been the first time I'd ever heard commercial radio,
