Here's a short story from a 2007 leadership conference. The point of it is how purpose drives motivation. For more useful advice, visit Tim's blog at www.SandersSays.com

    i love this story :)

  • How do the Christopher Wrens of the world inspire bricklayers to see the cathedral before it is erected and to get excited about participating in something greater than being paid to lay a few bricks? Or, is it that some people seek that purpose and others are content just "doing"? Imagine if every grocery clerk, restaurant server, healthcare professional and office employee saw themselves as part a larger purpose and as an integral part of the experience the enterprise is creating!
