The air check version sounds like it could be from Detective Conan. XD
It's like the songs they play when the killer confesses after Conan outs him or her, especially if they're regretful. Fitting, since the song is "K.K. Lament".

it's a shame, it doesn't sound near as good in your house. I was really disappointed. It's such a beautiful song when he sings it, but they totally changed it for the stereos.
