To be precise, she asked for more money after she'd missed most of the previous season because of her pregnancy. She really didn't have any bargaining position--and it's unfortunate that things turned out the way they did, because she was one of the better actresses on the show.
With Oxenberg, the knock on her was that she couldn't carry the action when she had to--she wasn't a strong enough actress to hold her own with the rest of the cast.

I don't think I've ever seen Alexis drive a car! No wonder she drove off a bridge, she was probably looking for the brake and hit the gas pedal! Ha Ha! Thanks for posting these clips!
