nope keeping moss short and wraping it around the driftwood keeps it from suffocating... trick is to plant heavy, at least 25% of the tank should be planted!

Also, is there any video which fully shows it? There's another video but its spoken in Italian.

@schizobipolarjoe - I like to use 'trout line' (lot's of Trout fishing here in Montana)...it's a slight green color that almost disappears in the water. But any string that's dark or green in color works well. I'm not sure where to find hair nets in my city or would have tried that on more difficult plants :|
