Why men stray? Because most men are inconsiderate, amoral, pathetic assholes who refuse to do the right thing when their baser instincts call. All of the men I've ever dealt with in my life fall in this category. And by the way, I'm a man, and I refuse to become a part of that category, even if it means that I have to lock myself in my house and never come out again. Maybe this is a genetic trait that all of us men suffer from, but in my view, even that wouldn't be reason enough to absolve us.

Tiger's biggest mistake wasn't cheating, it was getting married.

I wonder why AP only addressed the question about why MEN cheat. Women cheat just as often and I would say it's also easier for them to cause any woman with a vagina can find some man to give it to. I'm not saying one sex cheats more than the other. All I'm saying is both sexes cheat about the same rate. Just cause a few celebrities did it and got caught doesn't mean that ALL men cheat.
