Two similar-but-different bikes, one fast, narrow and flowing descent.
Deerhunter at Swinley Forest is the perfect test of these 120mm hardtail's ability to grip, flow and carry speed. I'd argue that few if any other bikes would have the edge on this type of trail, in particular their ability to accelerate hard between the tight berms.
Bikes on test were:
Genesis Latitude 20 (steel)
Boardman HT Pro (carbon)
Click http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=347pMNjrNd8 for rear-facing cam of the same trail, and be sure to check the September issue of MBR for the verdict. On sale August 24th.
Shot with Vholdr CountourHD.
This trail is so much more fun on a full-sus bike. You can rail all those berms that tighten up at the end in a way you can't on a hardtail.

Looks like fun, makes me wonder why I am about to waste money on a full suspension bike.
