About Texas' Next Top Designer, Inc.
Founded in 2006, Texas' Next Top Designer, Inc. is a 100 percent volunteer, 501c.3. non-profit organization committed to nurturing diverse entrepreneurs by supporting business development for the fashion and aligned industries. Texas' Next Top Designer, Inc. hosts the "Search for Texas' Next Top Designer" competition as a selection process for grant recipients and hosts seminars and workshops created to address specific professional needs discovered throughout this process. As a part of its goal of providing meaningful resources for all past and future grant applicants, Texas' Next Top Designer, Inc. also creates and sponsors events to support local designers throughout the year.

About Search for Texas' Next Top Designer
Through the Search for Texas' Next Top Designer competition, which began in 2007, fledgling fashion and accessories artists around Texas compete for grants by demonstrating their talent, showcasing their creations and proving their business sense. The organization will announce grant winners in the spring of 2009 at its annual Announcement Event for Texas' Next Top Designer. The award includes a financial reimbursement grant of up to $50,000 of in-kind support for business development and may include assistance on subsidized work and showroom space, collateral production, advertising, financial planning, targeted fast-track business assistance and networking with Texas-based industry leaders.
