@purveyor24 Hey - I never saw this. LOL! Maybe you should lay off Mr. Smith and his friends and relatives a little. Afterall he did write it and played a version very similar (but better) to this on the Tribute album for Steve Goodman - which is the recording that I used to learn it. Also, to date youtube has not slapped me with a copywrite infringement for this recording which gives them the right, it seems, to place advertising on the video (which I hate).

Brian, I have to say I have wandered around youtube listening to other covers of this song and I keep coming back to yours! LOL It has inspired me to really try and 'learn' this song. Thanks again -peter

@tryingtoplay90 If there is anyway that I can help you, just let me know. I play it in a G form picking top, third, and fifth string, I think. I will get the guitar out when I get home to verify it and let you know. Should be fairly easy to pick up, not a lot going on.
