  • I had the same problem Alex. Signed up and was informed by GTM that my Ubuntu desktop wasn't acceptable. SO, I pulled right back out. But thanks for posting the recap.

  • Good vid It I thought I was watching live

  • @loganenator thanks Logan, means a lot that you said that I really appreciate it! :)

  • @coolkicker1 thank you for covering that, great information!

  • One thing you failed to mention when talking about reclaimed materials is windows. You don't want to use 30 year old windows you can get them at a low cost because you will lose a ton of heat in the winter due to their low insulation value.

I bought all my windows from the Habitat for Humanity Resale store. They sell their surplus building materials, which are brand new or very gently used. My windows are double pane, insulated glass that are highly efficient, but I got them for dirt cheap.

  • Thanks for this Alex and congrats on a successful event! :D Just remember that acrid comments like those of @bruc33ef means you've made it on the radar! :) I always tell Tammy it takes energy to spit venom at bloggers so it means you are worth the energy! :^) Cheers!

  • @bruc33ef ..and about the 11 minutes.. I meant for the entire thing to be a lot shorter but it ended up taking an hour. Couldn't really help it, I had a lot, and still have more, that I want to share.

  • @bruc33ef hey Bruce- you are free to go. I do appreciate you for reading in the past, giving me a try and all. My intention is to serve those who are interested in what I have to say and you certainly don't have to be one of them. Thank you.
