In May 2008, a coordinated partnership led by the Government of Southern Sudan, with the support of PSI, initiated the delivery of over 1 million long lasting insecticide treated mosquito nets (LLINs) to women and children across 2 states. The campaign delivered its 1 millionth net on July 31, 2008 in Western Bahr El Ghazal. Photojournalist Jenn Warren traveled to Sudan to record this great success story.

  • These mosquito nets are saturated with toxic insecticide called DELTAMETHRIN. This chemical is a known neurotoxin that has health implications for humans as well aquatic life.

  • Well done Jenn !

    Nice shoots !

Hope this will help South Sudan to improve their health indicators.
