Brisket, BBQ Guru & Big Green Egg

I wanted to try a hot & fast brisket cooked direct instead of my usual low & slow. Estimated time 3 1/2 hours @ 375°. This definitely called for using my BBQ Guru.

Speaking of BBQ Guru, I've been getting a lot more sleep during those 20-hour cooks since I got my Guru. Before that I pretty much stayed up and awake all night worrying about the temperature dropping or rising. No more of that worry. I love my BBQ Guru.

Please don't be jealous. Instead, build yourself one. I only have basic woodworking skills and built this one without plans for under $2k. It is definitely fun to cook in or just hang out in.  I now have hot water and draft beer too. Yes very fun...

I have a CyberQ and it rocks. The egg is incomplete with a BBQ Guru. It becomes like a over with it, and no worries!

Very nice and inspirational, I have a brisket in the freezer that I have been trying to work up the nerve to cook and have kept putting it off, guess its about time to do it to it.
