How Americans vote will influence whether we see a timed end to the war in Iraq, if we form an international consensus to tackle climate change, how we deal with the situation in Iran and North Korea, and whether we finally prioritize the fight to end global poverty. We've produced this global ad echoing the voices and concerns of the billions outside the US who can't vote. Watch it and click following link to endorse it and send it to your friends:

  • This is an inspiring and well crafted video - thanks again Avaaz team! At The World Wants Obama Coalition we're trusting that Americans will indeed vote for change and make us all proud on 4th November.

  • Why is the US the only country in the world where "socialist" is a such a shocking, dirty word? I am a socialist. Socialist does not equal communist despot. Many countries (including Australia & NZ for many years before we became puppets of the US, and northern Europe still) are socialist to varying degrees.

  • Is this video a joke?

  • If the US want to be a better place, they have first of all to fix their weird laws.

  • 5-6-11...So now that I see the "CHANGE" I don't like it. B.O. was a media creation. He's an empty suit and you guys were brainwashed.

  • When you give a reason for an action

e.g. "I oppose war in Iraq." Why? "Because it raises my taxes."

O.k. (You failed to say by how much.) Then that general rules applies to all instances.

e.g. You must then oppose taxes that put people in prison.

Otherwise, it is not a general rule.

  • @mphello .. defense-welfare (corporate welfare), and that's great. That's why I voted for Ralph Nader 4 X for President of the USA. But, I NEVER hear this anti-war crowd go on and on about

let's end prisons. Prisons are force, too. Just like war. They cause untold misery to the people confined in prison. So making a blanket generalization that war "is bad because it hurts X for all X" also applies to prisons, since prison "is bad because it hurts X for all X".

  • I considered myself conservative when I was age 8, but I and my family were never socially conservative. We were always for feminism and gay rights. I thought I was conservative because I was well-disciplined and hard-working in school. Turned out that I was more liberal than everyone else in school. As I got older, I got more and more radical.

And, one of the things that I hate about the anti-war crowd is that they yap endlessly about opposing funding TRILLIONS of dollars to corporate...

  • they could have added: learn esperanto for a better world... but i remember... esperanto is taboo...

  • We dont need a new version of a so called capitalistic oriented, materialistic sized "prosperity", we don't need any "free" market policies, we need equal repartition of all the vital ressources to all the people in the world, and we don't need the US to tell us, the whatsoever rest of the world, to follow them as in rules and directions for ever. We need a free not market based, liberated world, which people living peacefully on their own, without geetting bothered by any SuperPower at all.

  • i like usa and us ppl too but bush get fuck with dog (peace )
