This is a quickly made video showing how to set your Office 2007 programs to use the older & more compatible formats so older versions of office can open them easily.

  • how did u install your microsoft word to your mac?

  • @Aiceberries The install of office used in the video is on a Windows machine in the house & I was using Microsoft Remote Desktop to access it remotely. If you need Office on a Mac, Microsoft does make a Mac version but iWork is cheeper & will open & export all office formats.

  • @1ComputerSavvyGuy thanks for the info, just got my first macbook pro and was totally confused coz am an office user and just having difficulty figuring how am I going to use my microsoft office 2007 though I've heard that it will never be compatible... would probably consider iWork though it's over a hundred euro as well =(

  • @Aiceberries Both Apple & Microsoft offer 30 day trials of Office/iWork. You can try them both before spending any cash.
