Another video from the annual Severn Valley 1940s weekends.
The event followed the tried and tested formula with many visitors in period costumes, displays and re-creations, wartime vehicles, Spitfire flypast, fantastically noisy gun battles and of course plenty of steam locos.
Like last year, the video was shot over two days and, despite a camera failure on the second day, we managed to gather three and a half hours of footage. This has been distilled down to a mere three and a half minutes.

  • Looks bloody brilliant, ahh how we used to be, if only we could turn back the clocks. Apart from the dark side of the war of course. when brits were brits. some of those women looked good to:-).
